Non-bookish sites? What do you think I get on the Internet for? REALLY?
Wow, this is hard. Okay, well let's put down some of my favorite sites I clamour to that aren't about books... erm... short list coming your way...

P.S. The month is halfway spent, which means there’s still plenty of time to enter my giveaway! One hardcover, brand-spanking-new copy of Beautiful Days by Ana Godbersen. This is the second novel in her ‘Bright Young Things’ series, and she’s such a wonderful author. Click here to enter the giveaway!
1. Reddit - Thank you, new best friend that is soon going to get her ass kicked. I lose hours of my life to this site. All those links that I just happen to come across sometimes and waste 10 minutes on are now together. Hell.
2. The New York Times - My news source, :) I've always been a very faithful Times reader.
3. PBS - I love my PBS! It's amazing. I might be such a geek for this, but come on. It's PBS, ya'll!
4. Wikipedia - Every high school/college professor I ever had told me to never use WIki as a source. But there are times you want to know something and know something now.
5. Ravelry - Hey, who knew I was crafty, too?
Only five, I know, but I didn't want to add random sites I hardly ever visit. Besides, who goes to sites NOT about books?
HMMM?
I can't wait for next week...

I had only five in my TTT too! I really like Ravelry, I found a free pattern for a cowl I really like that I plan on making soon.
ReplyDeleteAnd PBS! Are you a Downton Abbey fan, by chance?
Hey, Melanie!
DeleteSadly I never caught Downton Abbey, :( I have been meaning to since everyone loves it, the previews look amazing, and it's right up my alley! However, I am a huge fan of Sherlock, :)
I don't know why I didn't list Wiki. I use it so much! Especially when I Google something very random that I'm curious about. :)

Oh, I love Ravelry! I haven't picked up my crochet needles in ages. Maybe I should get to that...
ReplyDeleteI love ravelry too! I can't believe I didn't add it. I think I may end up with another blog post because of all the sites I didn't think to add.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Ill love crafting! Ill have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteI know! Right??? I was thinking the same about this topic. I couldn't think of any...but I was only thinking of blogs. Not sites in general. I could go on for days with that. LOL. I've been stalking everyone to see who admits going on to PerezHilton. LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful blog...love your blog name too.
ReplyDeleteNEW FOLLOWER.
Found you on the Literary Blog Hop List and decided to stop over.
