  30. Thank you for your generosity, and for being part of the Literary Giveaway Hop. My favorite reads so far, towards Spring/Summer have been:

    1) A Good American by Alex George
    2) On The Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta

Both deal with family, but in completely different manners. One is the story of one family's migration, and then subsequent assimilation, into their new world - and how each generation becomes more and more entangled in the soil that is now their home. And the other deals with how friends can be family, and sometimes that which we don't know (and sometimes don't understand) can become the basis of understanding our own life, our own history. Have a wonderful summer :D
